2020 Election Results: See How The Town Of Brookhaven Voted
The Suffolk County Board of Elections released statistics from the Nov. 3 election.

TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN, NY — Last month, residents in the town of Brookhaven either hit the polls or mailed their votes on Election Day to choose their representatives.
After the Suffolk County Board of Elections gathered all the votes, they released data to show how each town across the county voted.
The town of Brookhaven has 296 election district and 333,109 registered voters. A total of 247,563 residents turned out to vote.

Residents within the town leaned toward President Donald Trump on Election Day. According to the data, Trump received 129,559 or 52.7 percent of the votes. President-elect Joseph Biden received 113,320 or 46.1 percent of the votes.

In the 1st Congressional District race, voters within the town of Brookhaven overwhelmingly voted for incumbent Lee Zeldin. He received 133,065 or 55.9 percent of the vote while challenger Nancy Goroff received 105,105 or 44.1 percent of the vote.
In the 1st Senate District race, Anthony Palumbo beat out Laura Ahearn. Palumbo received 50,706 or 56.0 percent, of the votes while Ahearn received 39,866 or 44 percent, of the votes.
In the 2nd Senate District race, Mario Mattera beat out Mike Siderakis. Mattera received 36,833 or 54 percent, of the votes while Siderakis received 31,412 or 46 percent, of the votes.
The 104 district within the town of Brookhaven represented by the 3rd Senatorial District chose Alexis Weik, who received 39,700 or 55.3 percent of the vote. Monica Martinez received 32,087 or 44.7 percent of the votes.
