3 Injured After Ambulance Collides With Car In East Patchogue
Two women inside a Cadillac, as well as one ambulance crewmember, "sustained minor injuries," police said.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash involving an ambulance at an intersection near Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.
Police said that at about 4:40 p.m. an ambulance from the Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company collided with a 2013 Cadillac SRX intersection of the eastbound Sunrise Service Road and Hospital Road. Two women in the Cadillac, as well as one ambulance crewmember, “sustained minor injuries,” police said. A patient inside the ambulance did not sustain any injuries, according to police.
No further information was released by police.
