52nd Annual Italian Feast: What You Need To Know
Check out what you need to know before heading to the popular event this weekend.
PATCHOGUE, NY - The 52nd annual Patchogue Italian Feast of Saint Liberata is scheduled for this weekend.
The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Patchogue.
The feast will begin with the traditional procession starting in front of the Suffolk County District Court and the official ceremony will be held at 12:45 p.m. on the Four Corners.

In addition, guests will be able to view classic and Italian cars lined down Main Street or enter the annual bocce ball tournament on the lawn of the Sixth District Court/Teen Center at the Patchogue-Medford Carnegie Library.
Other family-friendly festivities include children's karaoke, a magician, dunk tank, bounce houses, a zeppole eating contest and live entertainment.

During the festival, there will be live music performed by:
• Giglio Italian Marching Band
• John Sirianni and Killin Time
• Nino - Songs of Sinatra and Friends
• Carmelo Raccuglia, the Italian Singer
• Tony Grant
Participating restaurants will also feature wine tastings during the third annual "Vino in the Village" wine walk.
This year's honoree will be Grace Rizzi-Gallipoli, who was named the 2019 Italian-American of the Year.
All money pinned to the statue of Saint Liberata will be donated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Frances de Sales Outreach.
