Bellport Brewing Company Will Open This Week In Bellport Village

BELLPORT, NY— Bellport Brewing Company owner Brian Baker has been making his local craft beer for seven years and is now opening a brick and mortar location in Bellport Village. The brewery is scheduled to open this Thursday at 14 Station Rd.

"Well, its finally time to announce that our grand opening is on Thursday, December 3rd at 3 p.m. We have waited a very long time and worked very hard to produce a final product for you guys. We thank you all for the support and hope to see you guys at the brewery," the brewery's Facebook page announced on Sunday.

Baker told Patch in September that he envisions the brewery as being an anchor for the community to gather and enjoy a range of local vendors.

"We are in such a beautiful village with so much to do. The only thing missing is the night life, a place to bring people to the village and keep them here to see how many amazing stores we have and what we have to offer. The business will function to help other local vendors— you will see a lot of collaborations in our brewery with local vendors and we will push for our brewery to be a family-friendly place for everyone to do something: between outside seating on the field by the bar outside playing cornhole or staying inside watching a football game or a movie on our two big screen TVs. We will offer local wine, local spirits, local ciders and even our own homemade soda, teas and Italian sodas."
