PATCHOGUE, NY — Blue Point Brewery in Patchogue introduced a new pop-up campsite this month — and will continue the experience through the end of March.

The local business on 225 W Main Street started the Toast + Roast Outdoor Dining Experience as their own version of the "igloo experience."

The cost is $99, with only one party of up to 8 guests permitted per evening.

The experience includes access to a private space for up to four hours with a picnic table and propane fire pit for marshmallow roasting. Guests will also receive one bucket of Blue Point beer or LITT ice tea seltzers along with s'mores ingredients and roasting sticks.

There will also be outdoor games available and access to a Bluetooth speaker. While guests will not be able to go inside of the nearby Airsteam, it can be used for photo opportunities.

Dogs and children are welcome in the space, and all coronavirus regulations are applicable.

Reservations are required, but according to Blue Point Brewery spokesperson Shelby Poole, dates sold out almost immediately. However, the brewery is exploring the option of opening up more dates into April.

The campsite has popped-up in conjunction with the “Bed and Brewery” sweepstakes, which ran from January until the end of February. Four grand prize winners received a 2-night stay at the brewery complete with meals, an oyster farm tour, and other activities.
