BROOKHAVEN, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Pilgram, a 1-year-old male domestic short hair.

Meet Pilgram! He is a very handsome and outgoing guy who is constantly purring and looking for love. He arrived at the shelter after being found covered in fleas. Pilgram is playful and affectionate and loves to get pets. He is estimated to be 1 year young, he weighs in at 8 pounds, is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
