Brookhaven Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Ulla

BROOKHAVEN, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Ulla, a 7 to 9-year-old female German Shepard.

Calling all Shepherd lovers!!! Introducing Ulla! This beautiful girl was picked up stray by a Good Samaritan and brought to the Animal Shelter in hopes of finding her family. Sadly, that has not happened for her[ so here she sits waiting for a love connection. She is hoping to get a second chance, the opportunity to meet a new family, one to call her own very soon. This isn't the end of her journey, she is a wonderful senior who has many more years of love to give and share. The shelter is a difficult loud place for the dogs to be and understand, Ulla is no exception, she like everyone else gets to have quiet time and time out of her kennel but the shelter is not a home and that is what she needs. She will do best in an adult only home as the only pet where she will do what Shepherds do and be your alarm system as well as your loyal best friend. She is 80 pounds, 7 to 9 years young, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and heartworm negative.
