Fundraiser Set Up For Patchogue Teen On Life Support After Car Crash

Each day he is in critical care costs about $5,000.

A Patchogue Patch user reached out to us to help spread the word about a fundraising account set up for her friend’s son, Kaynen. Kaynen is a teen who was injured in a car crash this past week and is now on life support in critical care.

Info about Kaynen and his mother from the GoFundMe page:

I am starting this account for a family who is in desperate need of your kindness and generosity in a most difficult time.
Stephanie is a single mother of two teenagers. She is a loving mother who lost her support system when her mother unexpectedly died less than two years ago.
Last night her only son, 17 year old Kaynen, was in a terrible car accident with two of his classmates. Unfortunately, he has sustained very serious injuries, including bleeding on the brain. He is in a coma and his poor mother, Stephanie, is devastated. While we continue to pray for healing of this beautiful young man, Stephanie needs assistance as she will remain with her son and not be able to work. She already lives paycheck to paycheck, as most of us do. Please donate in any way that you can to alleviate some of the financial strain so that she can focus on being there for Kaynen. Kaynen is a high school senior and has so much to live for. Please send a prayer for recovery along with a donation of any amount.
