Jim Romeo Named Italian-American of the Year by Greater Patchogue Foundation
Romeo was named the Italian-American of the Year for 2014's Patchogue Italian Feast of St. Liberata.

Jim Romeo was announced as the Italian-American of the Year for this year’s Patchogue Italian Feast of St. Liberata by the Greater Patchogue Foundation, Inc.
The feast will be held on Main Street on Saturday, Sep. 27 from noon to 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The Romeo family came to Patchogue in the early 1900s. Jim grew up on Waverly Avenue next door to his grandparents and close to many neighboring family members who lived on West Second Street. He has fond memories of growing up in an Italian family, from the vendors who sold food and wares on the streets to the annual parade and Feast of St. Liberata.
