Long Island Restaurant Week Kicks Off Sunday

Foodies, rejoice: Long Island Restaurant Week begins on Sunday.

Participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe for $28.95 every day from Jan. 27-Feb. 3, except for Saturday, Feb. 2 when the menu only has to be offered until 7 p.m.

Restaurant Week got its start on the East End in 2003 and was organized by East Hampton-based public relations firm WordHampton.

Success out east prompted the creation of the Long Island-wide promotion, offering affordable meals from top chefs at some of the most expensive restaurants across the region.

Find a full list of participating restaurants here. Calling ahead for a reservation is strongly recommended due to the popularity of Restaurant Week.
