A Love Letter To Joseph
After being apart for 17 years, this couple reconnected over a Facebook photo.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Jamie Schnell’s love story about her husband, Joseph:
“The truth is, we’ve always crossed each other’s paths. From the parks we frequented in our place of birth, Brooklyn, to our hometown of Patchogue. We spent time together as kids, taking many walks and having many talks, visits to my house, to our first kiss at Shorefront Park. We grew and parted ways, and 17 years later we reconnected.
We reconnected through Facebook over a picture we still laugh about. Me sitting on the edge of Lookout Mountain in Tennessee. We joined each other, each having a daughter of our own, marrying each other and having two more beautiful children together. And now we are busy loving each other in the place where we “reconnected” over, here in mountains of Tennessee.”
