Massive Blaze Destroys East Patchogue Home
No injuries were reported after the fire broke out at a local home over the weekend.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — No injuries were reported after a massive house fire broke out in East Patchogue Saturday afternoon.
Suffolk police confirmed they received a call for the fire at the Celia Street home at 12:45 p.m.
The home, as well as property stored in the backyard, was completely destroyed in the blaze. All residents were removed from the home with no injuries.

Firefighters fought the blaze for over an hour and set up at ladder truck on the opposite block behind the home to protect nearby homes, according to officials. The North Patchogue Fire Department responded, along with Patchogue, Hagerman, Medford and Blue Point fire departments.

Police say the cause of the blaze is still undetermined at this point. The arson squad and the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal are investigating.
