While it has been physically open for some time now, the Medford Stop & Shop is throwing a grand opening celebration on Friday.
According to a sign on the 700-60 Sills Rd. grocery store, the grand opening is inviting customers to head to the store on Sept. 6.
Patch called the store and was told by a manager that grand opening activities taking place later in the afternoon consist of giveaways, a prize wheel and card sign-up activities.
