New Patchogue Burlington Set To Open This Spring

The store, which has been relocated from its E. Main Street location, will soon be opening at the Gateway Plaza.

PATCHOGUE, NY — The new Burlington Store set to take over the former Bob's Stores at the Gateway Plaza in Patchogue will finally be opening this spring.

The department store chain moved its Patchogue store from its previous location on 196 E. Main Street, to the new spot on 499-2B Sunrise Highway.

Bob's Stores closed earlier this year after parent company Eastern Outfitters declared bankruptcy.

"Burlington is excited to continue offering area residents great values and fantastic bargains on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home," the Burlington spokesperson said.

Job opportunities will be provided to associates of the East Main Street Burlington store for the new location.

There are currently eight Long Island locations for the department store chain in Massapequa, Garden City, Valley Stream, Lawrence, Glen Oaks, Commack and Stony Brook.

In addition to the Burlington, a new Ashley Furniture store will also be opening at that location.
