New Vaccination Pop-Up Site To Open In Patchogue This Week

The site will be distributing coronavirus vaccinations two days this week for all those who are eligible.

PATCHOGUE, NY — A new community-based coronavirus vaccination site will be coming to Patchogue this week.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced recently that 18 new pop-up sites will be opening across New York this week, including three on Long Island.

Locally, the Patchogue YMCA on 255 W. Main Street will be distributing COVID-19 vaccinations to residents. The site will be open on Tuesday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Long Island, vaccination sites will also be opening at the Temple Beth El of Great Neck and at the Unkechaug Tribal Nation in Mastic.

All the sites will be re-established in three weeks to administer second doses if necessary.

Vaccinations are by appointment only and walk-ins are not allowed.
