Pat-Med High School Celebrates Graduation With A Rainbow Overhead
The awesome sight was the second in a row and was followed by music and fireworks. Congratulations to the Class of 2021!
Principal Randy Rusielewicz called it a gradation like no other in recent memory, noting it required the set-up of 2,000 chairs on the high school’s football field to accommodate all guests under COVID-19 restrictions.
As if the rainbow was not enough, the ceremony was topped off with music and fireworks.

“It was a memorable night that concluded a hectic, but awe-inspiring 96 hours starting with the ‘Prom of all Proms’ on Main Street in Patchogue, to graduation rehearsal and a class barbecue,” he said, adding, “and it followed with a one for the ages commencement ceremony that will not soon be forgotten, especially after last year's much talked commencement which many said could not be topped.”

“Fast forward to 2021 when it was not only topped but exceeded,” he added.
