Patchogue Bakery Announces Closure
The local eatery will be shutting down Thursday after less than two years in business.

PATCHOGUE, NY — After less than two years in business, a Patchogue bakery announced it will be closing this month.
Hometown Bakery wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday that the local location on 16 Havens Avenue will be shutting down for good.
"We are so very sad to announce that the Patchogue location will be closed effective today," the post read. "Sadly with everything going on in the world, it has been difficult to pick up momentum at this location."

In addition to the original location, the business will still continue to sell its fresh bakery items at farmers markets over the summer.
