After going into a second overtime period, Patchogue-Medford Raiders varsity football lost out to Northport, 38-31, at Saturday’s away game.
According to Newsday, Northport took the lead over Raiders with a 20-yard touchdown pass in the second overtime.
According to the report, the Raiders had a chance to tie or take the lead when it had possession during the second overtime but Northport’s defense made three straight stops.

Both teams scored touchdowns during the first overtime.
The Raiders will next play Half Hollow Hills East at home at Patchogue-Medford High School, 181 Buffalo Ave. in Medford.
