Pedestrian Dies After Hit-And-Run In Patchogue: PD

PATCHOGUE, NY — A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash in Patchogue early Sunday, according to Suffolk police.

Marco Castro, 32, of Patchogue was walking on North Ocean Avenue, just south of Roe Boulevard, when he was fatally struck by a car that left the scene at 3:55 a.m.

Castro was pronounced dead at the scene.
