Plans For Main St. Outdoor Prom Continue In Patchogue Village
The Patchogue-Medford 2021 senior prom could be a closed street downtown affair.

PATCHOGUE, NY— The Patchogue-Medford High School prom will be unique this year. The June 2021 prom will be held in downtown Patchogue Village. The idea for a Main Street prom is a Covid-19 innovation: the event could safely host more students spread out among local businesses and outdoors than in one indoor space.
David Kennedy, Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce director, told Patch that plans for the outdoor prom are moving all along.
"All is coming together well for us to host Pat-Med Prom in downtown Patchogue on June 21," he reported.

Garrett Comanzo, vice principal of Patchogue-Medford High School is in charge of organizing the unique event and he told Patch that he will be releasing detailed information soon.
The prom is scheduled for Monday, June 21. The Village of Patchogue may close portions of Main St. so prom attendees can enjoy an exclusive outdoor space for the milestone event.
