PMHS Seniors Receive Leadership Award

Patchogue-Medford High School seniors Paula Cortezano and Benjamin Underwood are receiving the Suffolk Zone Physical Education Leadership Award.

According to the Patchogue-Medford School District's website, Cortezano and Underwood were chosen by the Suffolk Zone Chapter of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance as the Pat-Med district winners.

To win the award, both students had to excel in physical education and leadership, overall academic achievement and leadership, outstanding character and being a positive role model.
