Police Seeking Centereach TV Thief

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating a man who stole a television from a store in Centereach in July.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are after a black male who entered the Wal-Mart located at 161 Centereach Mall on July 13 and took a 42-inch LED TV from the display area. As the suspect exited the store, an employee tried to stop him, and the suspect left the TV in a shopping cart and fled on foot.
