PATCHOGUE, NY — It's not summer on Long Island without some Italian Ices.

Luckily, a popular Patchogue spot will be serving up ices once again this summer for the first time since 2019.

Last year, Tina's Italian Ices on 410 West Main Street announced it was not opening for the 2020 season due to the coronavirus.

"Thank you for your interest and support of Tina's, but due to these unsettling times unfortunately Tina’s Italian Ices will not be opening for the Summer of 2020 since our first priority is keeping our employees and customers safe," the business wrote in a Facebook post last year. "We hope that you stay safe and look forward to serving you tasty treats in the spring of 2021. We will miss you all."

Now, the business is back for the 2021 season, opening its doors once again last Friday.
