Public House 49 Reopens As Standard Rec
The popular local hotspot recently reopened as a new bar and restaurant.

PATCHOGUE, NY — The former Public House 49 in Patchogue has been transformed into a brand-new bar/restaurant concept.
The popular hotspot on 49 E. Main Street announced last year it was closing down to "undergo changes."
After over a year, the owners Frank Bragaglia and Brad Wilson officially reopened the business last week as the new eatery, Standard Rec.

"We needed to change," Bragaglia told GreaterPatchogue. "We are going to attract a different crowd."
A major change to the business is the addition of entertainment for guests to enjoy.

In addition to food from a scratch kitchen and cocktails, Standard Rec will have board games and arcade games, such as Ms. Pac Man and skee ball, according to GreaterPatchogue.
