Thanksgiving 2020: What's Open, Closed In Patchogue

PATCHOGUE, NY - It's almost time to sit down with the family and feast on turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.

While some people — including employees at some retail stores — will be working on the holiday, many area businesses and offices will be closed, giving workers a day off.

Here's list of what's open and what's closed in Patchogue:

  • Federal offices: Closed
  • Village of Patchogue: offices are closed.
  • Town of Brookhaven: offices are closed. Garbage collection will be delayed a day.
  • Suffolk County offices, including the circuit clerk's office, courts, health department and more will be closed on Thanksgiving
  • Local schools: Closed
  • Library: Closed
  • Banks: Closed
  • Gas stations: Open
