Undefeated Bellport Boxer To Fight At The Paramount Friday Night
Will you be routing for the Long Island boxer Alex Vargas as he fights Antonio Sanchez Hernandez tonight?
BELLPORT, NY —A Long Island resident will be returning to his home turf to fight and defend his status as an undefeated boxer this Friday night. Alex Vargas, 24, of Bellport will be facing Antonio Sanchez Hernandez at the Paramount in Huntington starting at 7:30 p.m.
The match is part of Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing "Rockin' Fights." Vargas, who made his debut in 2018, has won all five matches with one KO, according to his bio on boxrec.com. His most recent match was against Dashaun Johns last November.
His opponent, 33-year-old Hernandez (6-8-3, 3 KO), of Puerto Rico, made his debut in 2009.
