WEATHER: What's Ahead for the Weekend in Patchogue?

That’s what’s on tap weather-wise across the island this weekend.

Up to an inch of rain may fall on Saturday and threaten to wash out several St. Patrick’s Day parades. Sunday should be dry with a high in the mid-40s.

• This Afternoon- Mostly sunny, with a high near 41. South wind around 6 mph.
• Tonight- Rain likely, mainly after 4am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 34. South wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
• Saturday- Rain. High near 46. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
• Saturday Night- A chance of rain before midnight, then a chance of showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Sunday- Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind 9 to 14 mph.
• Sunday Night- Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.
• Monday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.
