BMW Rolls Over After Accident In Westlake

WESTLAKE, OH — A car rolled over on Hilliard Boulevard last week, Westlake police announced.

The accident took place near St. Peter and George Church. A Porsche and a BMW collided, sending the BMW into a flower box and tree in the center median and causing the vehicle to roll over.

Despite the extraordinary circumstances of the accident, both drivers suffered only minor injuries, police said.

A 17-year-old Westlake resident was charged with a marked lane violation after the accident, police said.

Part of Hilliard Boulevard was closed for more than an hour while crews cleaned up after the accident, police said.
