Grand Opening Scheduled For Westlake Community Services Center
The 28,000 square foot facility will be celebrated with ice cream, music, raffles, health screenings and more.
WESTLAKE, OH — A grand opening ceremony for the new Westlake Community Services Center will be held Tuesday.
The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The ribbon-cutting will include self-guided tours, music, refreshments, an ice cream truck, a raffle, health screenings, and food cooked by St. John Medical Center's personal chef.
Mayor Dennis Clough will deliver his State of the City address at 7 p.m. in the Eileen Humphrey Auditorium, following the grand opening festivities.

The revamped Westlake Community Services Center is 28,000 square feet. Its construction corresponds with the 40th anniversary of the Westlake Department of Community Services (originally called the Office on Aging).
Westlake officials dedicated the new facility in late June.
