Dover Center Railroad Crossing Closing For Maintenance

City officials said the closing could last up to two weeks.

WESTLAKE, OH — The railroad crossing at Dover Center, in neighboring Bay Village, closed Wednesday for maintenance. Officials expect the closure to last for up to two weeks.

The City of Westlake shared information on the closure on Tuesday evening. Officials said Dover Center will only be closed at the railroad crossing, the rest of the street should remain open to drivers.

Norfolk Souther Railway will be performing the maintenance on the railroad crossing, the city said. Crews will shutdown the crossing.

Drivers will find that Dover Center is open up to the crossing, in both directions. Motorists should have access to all local business along the roadway. A detour map is below.
