Love-A-Stray Helps Abandoned, Sick Dog

Dog was found at Bradley Nature Park on Sept. 24

The last month at Bradley Nature Park has recovered enough to go into foster care while waiting to be adopted.

Love-A-Stray took custody of the dog on Thursday, Westlake Police announced Friday. The local animal rescue/adoption organization has placed the dog in one of its foster homes until an adoption can be arranged.

The dog was found at Bradley Nature Park on Sept. 24. It was malnourished, neglected, had its dewclaws removed and had a severe case of sarcoptic mange. Westlake Animal Hospital treated the dog.
