'Love Is Blind' Star Threatened By Northeast Ohio Woman: Police

Westlake police say they have taken a woman into custody for threatening to kill a resident and her unborn child.

WESTLAKE, OH — A woman was arrested after threatening to hurt a Westlake woman and her unborn child, police announced.

On Thursday afternoon, a Westlake woman called police and said she was being threatened on social media. Officers investigated and discovered the woman making the threats was Shayla Harris, who had previously been accused of attempted murder.

Harris was accused of trying to hit four different pedestrians and two dogs with her car, police said. Her trial is set to resume in May.

Westlake police determined Harris was indeed threatening the resident, and her unborn child, and had been sending threatening messages to one of the other victims of her original vehicular assaults, a department spokesperson said.

One of the victims of Harris' threats is the fiancee of 'Love is Blind' star Mark Cuevas, TMZ reported.

Warrants were issued for Harris' arrest and Parma police took her into custody on Thursday night. She now faces additional charges for aggravated menacing.

Harris appeared in Rocky River Municipal Court and a restraining order was issued against her. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court also revoked her bond and was taken back to the county jail, police said.
