More Than 4,500 People Without Power In Westlake
FirstEnergy hopes to have power restored for the majority of customers by 12:30 p.m.
WESTLAKE, OH — More than 4,600 people are without power on Wednesday morning in Westlake. Another 2,000 people are without power in Bay Village.
FirstEnergy said it has sent crews to investigate the outages, but no cause has yet been determined. The company expects power to be restored for the majority of customers by 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Luckily for those without power, the humidity and heat have abated some on Wednesday morning. The remnants of Tropical Storm Barry are expected to soak Northeast Ohio throughout the day, and overcast skies have greeted most residents.

Temperatures are expected to peak at about 84 degrees on Wednesday and there is an 80-percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
