Part Of Lake Road Closing For 7 Months
Crews will be replacing a bridge over Cahoon Creek, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

BAY VILLAGE, OH — Part of Lake Road will be closed for seven months starting April 1, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Monday.
Work on U.S. 6, aka Lake Road, over Cahoon Creek, will start Monday, April 1. ODOT said crews will be doing a bridge replacement, which will take more than half a year to complete.
Drivers will be detoured along SR 83, aka Avon Belden Road, I-90 and SR 252, aka Columbia Road. A map of the impacted route is at the bottom of this article.

The work on the bridge is being handled by JD Williamson Construction Company. ODOT said the contract was worth $2,731,603. Work should be competed by October 2019, weather permitting.
