Shamrock Run 5K Coming To Crocker Park

Looking for a healthy way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

WESTLAKE, OH — An Irish themed 5K will be held at Crocker Park this month.

The Shamrock Run will start at 9 a.m. on March 14. The race will feature Irish music, décor and other flair. Runners are encouraged to wear festive green costumes and running gear.

The 5K will start at Market Square and wind through suburban Westlake. Runners will receive a Shamrock Run shirt, a finisher medal, pint glass and face mask.

After the race, Burntwood Tavern and Leo's Italian Social will provide a complimentary mimosa or beer to every participant with their brunch order.

“The luck of the Irish always shines through during this fun morning at Market Square,” said Stacie Schmidt, vice president of marketing & communications for Stark Enterprises. “We love partnering with GCXC Race Timing & Management for this festive 5K, getting everyone in the spirit of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!"

Registration for the Shamrock Run is open online. Registration is $30 and participants have the option to participate in person or virtually. Registration must be completed by 8 a.m. on March 14.
