Shoplifters Steal $500 Of Merch From Westlake Store

Police are now asking the public for help identifying the suspects.

WESTLAKE, OH — Police are asking the public for help identifying two shoplifters who stole more than $500 of merchandise from a Westlake store.

On Jan. 28, two women went to Michaels and stole Swarovski Crystals, commonly used for nail art. After leaving the store, they appear to get into a white, four-door sedan with a blue or black stripe on the side, police said.

The first suspect is a heavy set woman, wearing stretch pants, a knit cap and a blue light. The second suspect was also a heavy set woman wearing a nylon cap, a bright multi-colored jacket and mask. Photos of both suspects are above this article.

Police believe the duo could be working with a white man and woman who got into a silver Chevy HHR.
