At 9:15 p.m., Westlake police got a call from Crocker Park Security. Customers were complaining that someone was walking around the shopping center with a handgun and had even pointed the weapon at someone near the Hyatt Hotel.

When officers arrived, they identified three suspects who were walking toward a parking garage. The trio got into a Cadillac Escalade and then drove away, ignoring officers who were trying to stop the vehicle, police said.
