Week 7 High School Football Rankings: Where is Westlake?

The Ohio High School Athletic Association ranks the top 12 teams in each division and each region across the state.

WESTLAKE, OH - Westlake had a tough loss to Midview last Friday, losing 35-14. However, the team only moved down one spot in the most recent OHSAA rankings, falling from six to seven.

Avon High School continues its stranglehold on the top spot of OHSAA's Division II, Region II rankings. The team moved to 6 and 0 after it blew out Lakewood on Friday, winning 42-6. The region's top three teams remain the same after a week of play.

Westlake is back in action on Friday playing Lakewood.

The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The full region 1 rankings are below:
