Week 8 High School Football Rankings: Where is Westlake?

WESTLAKE, OH - Despite beating Lakewood in dominant fashion, scoring a 50-28 victory, the Westlake Demons dropped a spot in OHSAA's Division II, Region 6 rankings.

The Demons will be back in action on Friday taking on North Ridgeville.

The top 12 saw some maneuvering among its top teams. Holland Springfield, still undefeated, dropped from the second spot to the third, swapping spots with Grafton Midview. Avon Lake also moved into the top five after Olmsted Falls lost its second game of the season.

The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The top 12 teams in Division II, Region 6 are below:
