Westlake Celebrates Residents 90 And Older With Birthday Gifts

Birthday proclamations were issued to all Westlake residents who are 90 or older.

WESTLAKE, OH — Westlake honored residents 90 and older on April 30.

The city issued six birthday proclamations to residents, delivering the proclamations directly to resident doorsteps. It was the second straight year the city directly delivered its proclamations due to COVID-19.

Prior to the virus' outbreak, the city hosted an "Over 90 Birthday Luncheon." Since COVID-19 still poses a threat to Ohioans, Westlake Community Services Director Lydia Gadd and Outreach Coordinator Donna Feorene personally delivered each proclamation to residents.
