Westlake High School Ranked 7 Headed Into Playoffs

WESTLAKE, OH - The Westlake Demons have made the playoffs. The team finished the regular season with a record of 7-3, which netted them the 7th seed in Region 6. The Demons capped off their regular season with a blowout of Berea-Midpark, winning 63-42.

Pyrrhic victories abound in the playoffs and the team will have to play the undefeated, second ranked Holland Springfield. Despite finishing with the same record as the fifth and sixth seed, the team drew the juggernaut and now must hope for an underdog finish.

The Regional Semifinals will be played Nov. 11. The Regional Finals will be played Nov. 18 and Nov. 19. Then the State Semifinals will be played Nov. 25 and Nov. 26.
