Westlake High Student Debuting Film at Cleveland International Film Festival
Sophomore Katie Cirincione is debuting "Just One Drop" at CIFF, her second short feature film to debut at the festival.

WESTLAKE, OH - There's a long running gag in Hollywood that every actor, scriptwriter, producer, and personal assistant secretly wants to be a director. Being the person behind the camera, deciding how the story will look and play out, is one of the most coveted artistic positions in the world.
That's why it's so insanely rare and cool that Westlake High School sophomore Katie Cirincione is debuting her second short film at the 41st Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) this year. This year's festival will feature more than 400 films from across the globe.
Cirincione's short film is called "Just One Drop" and is about the large impact little things can have on the world. The movie will be featured in the "Family" and "Shorts" screening, the school district says. Cirincione will also talk to other high school students about her film.

"Just One Drop" is tentatively scheduled to air on April 1 at 11 a.m. And no, that is not a gag.
In 2016, Cirincione debuted a stop-action animated film called "Checkers the Cat." The film is about an illustrated cat named Checkers that comes to life.
