Westlake Swimming Coach Steps Down
Coach Jessica Ranallo has spent seven years coaching the Demon swimmers. The district announced her decision on Tuesday.

WESTLAKE, OH - For most people, family will always come before all else and family is the reason veteran Westlake swimming coach Jessica Ranallo is stepping away from the sport. Ranallo is pregnant with a soon-to-be-born baby girl, the district says, and has made the decision to focus on her child and her family.
Ranallo has been the swim coach at Westlake for seven years after being hired in 2010. She has amassed a winning record over her tenure, capturing 83 wins. Her teams have never finished lower than fourth in the Southwestern Conference.
Records were meant to be broken by Ranallo's swimmers. During her tenure 10 schools records were shattered by her team. She also coached state champion swimmer Joe Craven during the 2010-2011 swim season.
