Blizzard Warning Cancelled, Winter Weather Advisory Posted

Driving conditions could become dangerous.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has cancelled the Blizzard Warning for Cuyahoga County. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. Wednesday

Snow began Wednesday morning. The heaviest snow went on Wednesday afternoon into early evening, combining with strong wind gusts to create blizzard conditions.

Travel remains strongly discouraged, as drifting snow could make roads dangerous and slippery. Keep an eye out for traffic trouble spots with our Commute tab.

The snow will begin to taper off from west to east starting late in the evening on Wednesday.

Winds will be from 20 to 30 miles an hour, with gusts up to 40 miles an hour. It will also be cold, with high temperatures in the 20s.

An additional 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected Wednesday evening.
