Beaverton Arts: New Sculptures Coming Downtown

The City of Beaverton is getting ready to bring some art downtown to lift everybody up a little. The first of two scupltures is going to be installed next Wednesday at Broadway Plaza.

The city - with the assistance of the Central Beaverton Neighborhood Association, Beaverton Downtown Association, and the Beaverton visioning program - purchased two sculptures by artist Angela Ridgeway.

The pieces had both been on exhibit at the Art on Broadway gallery downtown.

The first piece, embrace your inner light, will be installed first. A second piece will be installed later this year at Lombard Plaza.
