Beaverton Arts Program Awards Grants
Subsidized tickets to the symphony. A holiday concert. Culture night at an elementary school. Diverse group of programs get assistance.
The City of Beaverton's Arts Program has awarded 2016 community grants to the following projects:
- Beaverton Civic Theatre -- Addams Family Broadway workshop;
- Beaverton Symphony Orchestra -- Free and subsidized ticket program;
- Big Horn Brass -- Holiday concert;
- Encore Senior Players -- Summer and fall program support;
- Experience Theatre Project -- A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Round;
- Huitzilopochtli -- Azteca art, dance and traditions in Beaverton * ISing Choir -- 2016/2017 season;
- Jayanthi Raman -- Erasing Borders Global Dance production;
- Masque Alfresco -- Summer park tour;
- Nancy Ryles Elementary -- Celebrate Culture Night;
- Painted Sky Northstar -- Outreach performances to Beaverton schools.
The grants are funded by the City of Beaverton and Beaverton Arts & Culture Foundation.
