Beaverton Kid Home Alone Calls 911 After Hearing People Break In

It was just before 2 ip.m. in Beaverton and a kid was home alone when he heard people break in. He called 911. Four people were arrested.

BEAVERTON, OR – There's a kid in Beaverton who should be known as "The Home Alone Kid." Police – who have not said the kid's age or whether it's a boy or a girl – said the "youth" was home alone on Wednesday afternoon when four people broke into the house.

The four people – three men and a woman – apparently didn't know that someone was home when they broke in just after 1:30 p.m., police say.

The kid called 911 and moments later the police arrived.

Officers found one person still in the home and were able to arrest the others soon after.

Police say that the four are:

  • Claudia Agudelo, 38;
  • Luis Sarmiento-Vargas, 30;
  • Francisco Ugarte-Garcia, 33; and
  • Cristian Aranza-Rudas, 24.

Agudelo and Sarmineto-Vargas, whose last known home was in Renton, WA, are charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary while Ugarte-Garcia and Arana-Rudas, whose last known home was in Staten Island, NY, are charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Possession of Burglary Tools.

The four, al being held in Washington County Jail, ere traveling in a silver Hyundai Tucson with California plates.
