Beaverton Kids: Group Wants to Bring Focus to Homeless Youth
The Beaverton School District has the highest number of homeless students in the state and no shelters for them. A group wants that changed.

If you've driven around Beaverton Friday and Saturday and noticed a lot of people camping out, it's part of a campaign started by Shelter Us, Beaverton.
To bring attention to the problem of homeless kids in the city, they urged people to sleep outside Friday night.
For the past six years, they say, the Beaverton School District has had the highest number of homeless kids in the state.
