Beaverton Police: Woman In High-Speed Crash Alive Thanks To Belt
Beaverton PD says that Ashley Lazorchak crashed while going at least 82 mph. They think that she survived because she was wearing her belt.

BEAVERTON, OR – Ashley Lozarchak may have been going more than 50 miles per hour above the speed limit but at least she was wearing her seatbelt. That's the word from the Beaverton Police Department.
Police say that they arrested her just after midnight on Nov. 13.
They had been called to a report of a crash at the intersection of Southwest Murray and Allen Boulevards.

Witnesses said that a woman ad run away from the crash on foot.

Thanks to a K9 officer, police tracked her to Southwest 150th Avenue and Village Lane.
Crash Analysis Reconstruct Team officers determined that she had been going at least 82 miles per hour in an area where the speed limit was a posted 30 mph.
She was taken to the hospital where a blood sample was taken to determine her blood alcohol level. The results of that test have not been released.
She was then booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of Hit and Run, Reckless Driving, and DUII.
