Beaverton Serial Burglar Busted, Property Recovered, Police Say
Beaverton Police say that Timothy Vandehay pulled of more than 20 burglaries in Washington County between October 2018 and earlier this week
BEAVERTON, OR – Beaverton Police say that they'e arrested a 40-year-old man who committed more than two-dozen burglaries in Washington County over the past three months. Timothy Vandehay is charged with theft, burglary, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Detectives executed four search warrants on Monday, arresting Vandehay, and recovering three vans of what they say is stolen items. Police recovered tools, appliances, firearms, furniture, and more.
Police say that Vandehay targeted storage units, apartment garages, and new construction sites.

Beaverton Police say that they recovered approximately $15,000 worth of new construction materials that have since been returned to their owners.

Officials say that people should check their storage units and apartment garages to make sure that everything is there.
